Participating Organizations
The following are brief descriptions of each of the organizations that participate in the program. Scoville Fellows may only work with one of these groups.
Applicants should be aware that in the event that two or more fellows want to work at the same organization, the organization will select the person they judge to be the best fit for their office. Therefore, applicants should seriously consider several host groups since we do not guarantee that a fellow will get their first or second choice.
To ensure an equitable distribution of fellows among host organizations, we have a rule generally requiring two semesters of ineligibility for partner organizations after hosting a Scoville Fellow. For the spring 2025 semester, the following organizations will thus be ineligible to have a Scoville Fellow:
Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation
Federation of American Scientists
International Crisis Group
Peace Direct
ReThink Media
Stimson Center
Win Without War Education Fund
The Brookings Institution will also be unable to host a spring 2025 fellow.
