Simon Thorpe is the Spring 2026 Scoville Fellow for the Nuclear Materials Security Program at the Nuclear Threat Initiative. He earned a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. At NTI, Simon contributes to the Nuclear Scaling Initiative, the Global Dialogue on Nuclear Security Priorities, and the 2026 NTI Nuclear Security Index. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, climbing, and music.
