Monteabaro is Director of Strategic & Partner Programs at MIT Solve and was previously the Lead of the Learning Community. Solve is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a mission to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. In this role, she works with Solve community members and partners to develop custom open innovation challenges. Through these challenges, Solve finds incredible tech-based social entrepreneurs from all around the world and then connects them to MIT’s innovation ecosystem and a community of Members who fund and support them to drive lasting, transformational impact. She was previously the Morton L. Mandel Presidential Fellow at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge, MA where she assisted the Academy’s president with speechwriting, membership outreach, and managed the Academy’s Exploratory Fund. She assisted with the Academy’s Global Security and International Affairs portfolio. She helped to organize a conference on bridging the gap between area and global studies held at the Academy in March, 2016.
