Current Activities: Marchert is a Foreign Affairs Officer in the Bureau of Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability, Office of Strategic Stability & Deterrence Affairs, at the U.S. Department of State. She was previously an Engineering Systems Implementation & Integration Professional at Sandia National Laboratories. In this position, she developed and presented curriculum designed to educate international officials on detecting and stopping sanctions evasion and illicit trafficking. She focused on maritime security and countering proliferation financing.
