Slosson is a JD candidate at the University of Colorado Law School. She was previously the associate editor of the Telluride Daily Planet, the local newspaper in the small mountain town in southwest Colorado. In 2013, she was an International Reporting Project New Media Fellow, reporting on food security in Tanzania. She was previously a correspondent for Reuters covering general news in the Western United States, based in Sacramento. In 2012 she received an MA in journalism from the University of Southern California, where she was an Annenberg Fellow at the USC Annenberg Graduate School for Journalism. During grad school she interned at Reuters, and reported on commodities and energy (particularly renewable energy) as well as politics, business, and culture. She previously served as the Deputy Editor for Annenberg Digital News and wrote extensively on international relations for Neon Tommy, the online publication of the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. She has also written for the Los Angeles Times.
