Kate Hewitt

Hewitt is a Multilateral Arms Control and Nonproliferation Advisor in the Office of Secretary of Defense for Policy at the U.S. Department of Defense. She was previously an Action Officer in the Infrastructure Program Management Office (PMO) NA-523 at the National Nuclear Security Administration. She is a member of the Board of Advisers of Girl Security, a contributing author for InkStick Media, and a 2018-2019 Nuclear Security Innovation Fellow with N Square. She was previously a Research Assistant in Security and Strategy in the Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institution where she continued the work she did during her fellowship.
