Current Activities: Haegeland is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Humanistic Studies Program, working between the Department of the History of Science and Technology and the Department of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. Before that she was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff for Cooperative Nuclear Counterproliferation in the Center for Global Security and Cooperation at Sandia National Laboratories. She was previously a Research Associate and then a South Asia Analyst in the South Asia Program at the Stimson Center, where she worked on nuclear security, crisis escalation, and regional politics, while developing The Subcontinental, SAV, and the SAV Visiting Fellowship.
