Van Dine graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in June 2020. She served as an Articles Editor on the Chicago Journal of International Law and represented wrongfully convicted individuals through the Exoneration Project clinic. She spent summer 2019 as a summer associate at Latham & Watkins in Washington, DC, where she worked on a variety of litigation matters. In summer 2018 she worked as a legal intern with the Federal Public Defender in Boston. She was hired as a Program Associate for Scientific and Technical Affairs at NTI following her fellowship and worked there until she bgaan law school in fall 2017. She focused primarily on the cyber threat to nuclear facilities and nuclear weapons. She also worked on the biennial NTI Nuclear Security Index, a first-of-its-kind ranking of countries according to their nuclear security conditions. She was a CSIS PONI Nuclear Scholar in 2016.
