Maher Akremi

Current Activities: Akremi is DC Program Coordinator at Clean Water Action. He supports work in the Chesapeake region and coordinating work in the DC area. He is also working with Bombshelltoe as Creative Producer and Program Manager for the Peace and Pen Foundry program. He was previously the Project Lead for the Organizations in Solidarity (OiS) Project at Women of Color Advancing Peace & Security (WCAPS). In this role he managed collaboration between more than 300 organization and individual partners, including the Scoville Fellowship and a number of its affiliated organizations. OiS was formed to combat racist beliefs, attitudes, and acts of discrimination, and integrate diversity within all levels of the partner organizations and in the peace and security, foreign policy, and national security fields as a whole.
