International Crisis Group

Anna is a Scoville fellow working at International Crisis Group, where she supports the U.S. Advocacy and Research Team in elevating conflict prevention policy recommendations to decision-makers in Washington, D.C. Anna is a recent MA graduate from Columbia University’s Institute for the Study for Human Rights, where she focused on issues related to atrocity prevention, peacebuilding, conflict resolution and women, peace, and security. Her research has included assessing the role of civil society in peacebuilding, the gendered implications of conflict, technology as a tool in conflict mediation, and the way that militarization impacts perceptions of national identity and security. In her free time, Anna enjoys taking part in her Cypriot diaspora community, where she advocates for a Cyprus that is free of military occupation.
